Admission

The Hinkler Hall of Aviation is open from 9am to 4pm, seven days a week. We are closed Christmas Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day, Anzac Day public Holiday (when holiday held on another day other than Anzac Day) and other public holidays with notice. Public Holiday trading hours will be from 10.00am - 3.00pm. With prior notification we may be able to cater for an out-of-hours viewing, and we also cater for corporate functions and special events. Just contact our team in advance to discuss.

Tours of the Hinkler Hall of Aviation take around one to two hours and tours of the Hinkler House take around one hour, so plan to spend around two to three hours to see the complex. Printed tour guides are available to each visitor, and parking for cars, caravans and coaches is provided within easy walking distance.

Group Booking Terms & Conditions:

  • Confirmation of booking must be made in writing by the client accompanied by a 30% deposit. Balance is to be paid prior to or on arrival. Cheques are to be made payable to the Bundaberg Regional Council. Major credit cards or cash are accepted.
  • The Hinkler Hall of Aviation does not accept responsibility for the damage to or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking.
  • Notice of Cancellation: We require written notice if the client wishes to cancel or postpone an event. A 100% refund will be given if notice of cancellation is provided at least seven (7) days before the visit. Where less than seven (7) days notice of cancellation has been provided (including no notice), the 30% deposit will be forfeited.
  • Final confirmed number of guests is required seven (7) days prior to the visit.
  • Prices: All prices listed or quoted include GST where applicable. Please be aware that all prices are subject to change without notice.

Conditions of Entry:

  • Footwear must be worn at all times.
  • Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • No animals may be brought onto the premises.
  • Smoking is not permissible within any building, or within 4 metres of any building.
  • No food or drink is permitted by any visitor in any building.
  • Admission price includes all exhibits, programs and attractions except food & beverage and merchandise.
  • We provide no refunds on site. Any request for refunds should be addressed in writing to the CEO of the Bundaberg Regional Council.
  • The operation of some exhibits and attractions may be affected by maintenance activity.
  • Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades or other equipment that may interfere with pedestrian traffic are not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove guests from the premises for vandalism, stealing, offensive behaviour, queue line jumping, failure to properly supervise children under your care, persons suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to follow safety instructions or failure to comply with these Conditions of Entry.
  • We reserve the right to inspect your bags.
  • Any photographs, videos or sound recordings taken by you must be for personal use only. Any use, reuse or production for commercial purposes without our express written consent is strictly prohibited.
  • Further specific conditions may be displayed throughout the premises, and you must obey these, as well as any instruction provided by our staff, at all times.
  • Your image may be taken at any time for security purposes or for use in marketing materials.
  • You are responsible for your own personal property.
  • The personal information we collect and maintain may include your name, address and contact details, as well as information specific to your involvement with us, allowing us to provide you with up-to-date information including products, events and special offers, and to assist in our research efforts to provide better service.
  • We take all reasonable steps to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience. However we will not be liable to any person in respect of any loss of or damage to the personal property of, or the loss of life or personal injury to, any person, whether that loss, damage or personal injury is caused by any person’s negligence (including the negligence of the Hinkler Hall of Aviation) or otherwise. This exclusion of liability does not apply to liability which cannot by law be contracted out of, for example, because of the Trade Practices Act.

under the Millennium Arts Regional Program, the Bundaberg Regional Council and the Hinkler House Memorial Museum and Research Association.
